Our Story

Fortae is an Indigenous women-owned brand based in the Pacific Northwest, inspired by heritage, sunlight, and the stories that shape us.

Fortae was born from the heart, a tribute to where we come from and a celebration of where we’re going. At its core, Fortae honors the legacy of ancestral traditions while embracing the radiance of what’s yet to come. Rooted in clean, earth-conscious care, each product is intentionally crafted to simplify your ritual, uplift the spirit, and connect us to something greater.

The name Fortae holds deep meaning: it’s spelled TAE in honor of my three greatest inspirations, my children, Thorin, Ady, and Ella. Their initials shine at the heart of the brand, surrounded by sun rays that represent the light and joy they bring into my life. Every bottle is a reflection of that love, a reminder to find, follow, and embrace your own Fortae, your purpose, your glow.

At Fortae, we believe in bringing more sunshine to the world through powerful plant ingredients, soulful storytelling, and giving back to underserved communities, especially Indigenous youth. When you use Fortae, you’re caring for yourself while honoring the earth, your roots, and the radiant force within you.
